The Story

E&B Lab Stainless Steel Aeropress Filter Screen

Designed by E&B Lab as a reusable alternative to paper filters, their Stainless Steel Aeropress Filter Screens are available in three porosities, allowing you to experiment with different extraction conditions. The 200µm and 150µm filter screens are perforated metal and have total open areas of 16% and 28% respectively, while the 35µm screen uses a woven wire inox membrane. Plunging speeds will vary based on the size of the filter selected.

To clean the screens, a mixture of warm water and Urnex Cafiza can be used to break down built up coffee oils while a gentle bristled brush can be used to dislodge fines or other small coffee particles than can become trapped after brewing.

Inverted Brewing

When brewing using the inverted method, please note that these screens do not behave identically to paper filters and will need to be flipped quickly with as much air pressed out of the Aeropress as possible.

Compatible with the Aeropress and Ceado Hoop

Made in Italy
